In one of my recent articles, I spoke about the fact that you
must alter your training variables that make up your workouts if
you want to continuously get good results, whether it is losing
weight, building muscle, or toning up.
While changing your training variables is an integral part of
the success of your training program, your workouts shouldn't be
drastically different every single time. If you are all over the
place on each workout and never try to repeat and improve on
specific ...

Winning My Battle With Anxiety
I was very outgoing as a child. I'd put on plays in front of my
parents, sing to records and put on shows. I was like that all
through both elementary school and high school. Nothing scared
me and my aspirations were high.
I began college as a Theater major and switched midstream to a
Communications major. I pictured myself as the next big 'News
Anchor'. I'd even auditioned at the Connecticut School of
Broadcasting, impromptu, and got accepted.
At the age of ...

The Boston College Eagles college football team was established in 1892, when the college agreed to set up the team upon the request of Joseph O?Connell and John Drum, the latter becoming the team?s first coach. Since its inception the team has proven its worth as a formidable opponent, having won many of its matches among its long-standing rivals, the College of the Holy Cross and the University of Notre Dame. The team has also been ranked high in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) standings ...

If you're reading this article, it's a good bet that you have a
radiating pain running down the back of your leg that just won't
go away. If what I'm about to tell you sounds familiar, don't
worry, help is on the way.
Sciatica and Piriformis Syndrome are the same condition... it is
just that the medical community is starting to call the
condition by the muscle (Piriformis) that is involved and
getting away from calling it by the name of the nerve that is
involved (sciatic) nothing more than ...

Exercising at home can be just as successful as training at a
gym if you know what you're doing. There are all types of home
exercise equipment out on the market and every one of them claim
to be answer to your prayers.

equipment are not created equal. Some can provide great
variation in your training program whilst others are quite

The Duke Blue Devils college football team has long been a source of pride for the athletics division, as well as for the students of Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Though Duke?s football team was first set up back in 1895, it was only formally established after World War I, when Duke?s Board of Trustees voted to lift the 25-year ban on football in the campus. Since then, the Duke Blue Devils has been making its presence strongly felt in the collegiate football scene. In fact, ...

Exercise is easier than ever. Fitness can be fun, summer or
winter. Here are 20 easy and fun ways to start.
1. Take a walk. On a warm summer evening, take a walk with
someone you love. Walking slowly, or briskly, can help burn
calories from a big dinner.
2. Get up earlier than everyone else. Do some aerobic exercise
by yourself. Use a workout video or walk the dog.
3. If you have a pool, play basketball or volleyball in the
pool. Try kicking, it tones your butt.
4. Garden. Digging in the dirt ...

There are over 34 million contact wearers in America. The idea
of contact lenses has been around for hundreds of years. It is
said that the first person to conceptualize the idea of contact
lenses was Leonardo da Vinci in the early 1500's. It wasn't
until 1971 that soft contact lenses entered the market, followed
by GP or gas permeable contact lenses in 1978. Extended wear
contacts received FDA approval in 1981 and disposable contacts
were introduced in 1987.
Today's contact lenses do more than ...

Anyone who has ever been in a gym before is familiar with the
gleaming banks of shiny exercise machines. Coming in all shapes
and sizes, they are usually cause for the newcomer to the gym to
pause and ask, 'What IS all of that stuff?'
Well, according to the price that the gym paid for any one piece
of that equipment, I certainly hope that it not only stimulates
your muscles, but also cooks your breakfast, washes your car,
and brings the kids home from soccer practice! Now the question
becomes ...
